With a large manufacturing and warehousing facility, the available roofspace was perfect for a solar PV system.
The Objective
Technocover approached Alt-Group in order to help them progress their net zero targets. From their site in Welshpool, Technocover were using over 750,000 kWhs of electricity per annum.
The Solution
Technocover instructed Alt-Group to supply and install a commercial 622kWp solar PV system providing over 60% of their electricity requirements each year and saving their business over £80,000 annually off their electric bill and over £12,000 from exporting additional generation back to the grid.
