Solar PV for Large Egg Unit

CR & GM Woollam & Son own and operate a large egg unit based near Oswestry. Wanting to increase the level of on-site Solar PV generation they contacted Alt-Group following a recommendation from another customer. Following consultation with the District Network Operator, Planning and Finance Alt-Group delivered a turnkey Solar solution comprising of both roof-mounted and ground mounted solar. The system comprised of JA Solar 450W half cut modules and Solis inverters, benefitting from a 20-year product warranty. The system is internet connected via the SolisCloud application giving Alt-Group and the customer accurate live data on how the system is performing. SolisCloud is the new generation of intelligent PV system monitoring, the system has in-depth analysis tools that allow users to understand the overall health of their system. The customer has also purchased the Alt-Group after sales care package that provides performance reporting, servicing and maintenance and electrical safety compliance.
