Roof Mounted Solar PV for Egg Laying Unit

A new egg laying unit near Welshpool contacted Alt-Group following a recommendation from our partners at Powell & Co Construction based in Herefordshire.  The owners of Cross Farm near Welshpool were looking for the best solution for a low carbon approach to their new venture. Using our industry knowledge, we specified a 50kWp system providing over 75% of Cross Farm’s electrical energy requirement. The system is comprised of Sharp 445W half cut modules and SMA inverters. Connected to the internet through the SMA Sunny Portal giving accurate live data on how the system is performing and providing live alerts to any system performance deviations, enabling our service team to respond quickly and effectively to ensure minimum distribution.
